Over 400 Personal Items from David Lynch's Estate Up for Auction, Showcasing His Multifaceted Creativity

items such as a custom-built five-necked console guitar designed by Danny Ferrington are up for bid. Lynch, a committed musician, released two studio albums and collaborated with artists like Angelo Badalamenti and Lee "Scratch" Perry.


Artistic and Personal Items: The collection also features Lynch's furniture design tools, including jet sanders and drill presses, as well as pieces of designer furniture by Eames and Knoll. Personal artifacts such as walkie-talkies emblazoned with Lynch's name, a Buddha statuette, and ashtrays are also available, reflecting his history with smoking and transcendental meditation.


Catherine Williamson, managing director of entertainment at Julien's Auctions, emphasized the significance of the collection: "These historical and cherished pieces reflecting David Lynch's singular artistic vision, as well as his passions and pursuits... come directly from the home of the visionary artist whose enigmatic films stirred our most imaginative and collective surreal dreams."
